No rush, no pressure

Get in touch

If you’d like to ask something, book a consultation, or you’re wondering whether my support might suit you, you’re very welcome to send a message. There’s no obligation in it at all, and you don’t need to explain yourself or have your thoughts tidy first.

Please don’t use this for urgent help

Free · not via me

I read messages when I can, but this isn’t monitored constantly and it isn’t a crisis service. If you need someone right now, please use one of these instead — they’re free, they’re there around the clock, and they have nothing to do with me.

  • Samaritans Call 116 123 Free from any phone, any time, day or night.
  • Shout Text SHOUT to 85258 Free, confidential, 24/7 text support. It won’t appear on your phone bill.
  • NHS 111 Call 111 and choose the mental health option For urgent help when you’re not sure what to do.
  • Emergencies Call 999 If life is at immediate risk, or someone is seriously hurt.

There’s fuller signposting, including FRANK for drugs and alcohol and NHS routes across the UK, on the resources page.

Send a message

A few words is plenty. If you’re asking for a consultation, share a little of what you’d like help with if you can. I may send a few questions before we meet. Please don’t put detailed personal or health information in a first message — just enough for me to understand what you’re asking. We can go into more depth later, in a more private setting, if that’s where things head.

I’m one person rather than an organisation, so replies aren’t instant. I’ll write back when I can, and if you’ve not heard from me in a while, do feel free to nudge me. A consultation is £55 for the hour. If money is tight, a concessionary rate can be available — it varies depending on income, and I’ll agree it with you discreetly. Tick the box or just say so. There’s nothing to apply for.

Before you send anything, you may want to read how I handle your information.

Choose the closest fit. If you’d like a consultation, pick that one.
A first name or a nickname is absolutely fine.
So I have somewhere to reply to.
A little of what you’d like help with is useful. Please keep detailed personal and health details out of this first message.
Optional. Only if money is tight. You don’t need to send proof or explain.

By sending this you agree to me holding your message so I can reply. There is more detail in how I handle your information.

If you’d rather write in your own email, here is the address. You can highlight it and copy it — you do not need a mail app on this computer for that.
